Francesco Pessione
Director
Francesco loves his role within the RWCA and believes his mix of youth and experience works well for both the firm and their clients. After completing a Bachelor of Commerce at Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT) Francesco worked for RWCA for 2 years, before he moved into the commercial sector both in Nelson and Wellington. Francesco returned to Nelson in 2004 to take up his current role at RWCA. He prides himself on his professional yet friendly manner when developing and maintaining strong business relationships with clients.
Francesco was born and bred in Nelson, but his father was born in Italy and this Italian heritage plays a huge part in their lives. A lot of Francesco’s youth was spent helping out on the family’s tomato gardens and he has self-proclaimed the title of the ‘fastest colour-blind tomato picker in the wood area’!
Francesco believes that to give good, sound, practical business advice, you need to understand the business from the grass roots. His experience gained from both commercial and public practice, combined with the importance that he places on client family and community relationships, is the key to this.
Francesco and his wife, Monique lead busy lives bringing up their four young children – Gianni, Amelie, Luciella and Ilaria. They are involved in many activities and help out with school events, sports teams and music and dance groups whenever possible. Saturdays are busy with sport and they then relish the opportunity to spend quality time together on Sundays, whether it’s a family bike ride, time at the beautiful Nelson beaches in summer or socialising with extended family and friends.
Belinda Getz
Director
Belinda is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of the Chartered Accountants Institute of Australia and New Zealand. Belinda brings a wealth of both commercial and chartered accountancy experience to RWCA having worked in a number of industry sectors across New Zealand. Prior to joining RWCA in May 2016, Belinda was with a national firm in the North Island.
Belinda specialises in business advisory backed by broad management accounting knowledge. She works with both large and small enterprises and finds tailoring practical tax solutions and business advisory to clients’ specific requirements extremely rewarding. Belinda has always had a strong client focus and takes great pride in seeing her clients grow, prosper and succeed. She blends her practical and accounting skills with her business experience to provide clients with pragmatic solutions that work!
Belinda is originally from the Waikato where she grew up on the family sheep and beef farm. She has spent the bulk of her career in Wellington. Belinda is married to Jack and as regular holiday makers in the Nelson Tasman region for the past 16 years they are excited to have made the move to Nelson.
Belinda and Jack’s spare time is spent supporting their son Oliver (currently studying at Otago University), developing their lifestyle property and enjoying the great outdoors that the region has to offer whether it is on the boat, fly fishing or exploring fabulous walks.
